   National Bancshares Corporation of Texas was a $500 million nine bank holding company which was traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol "NBT". The holding company was headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and had banks in Laredo, Eagle Pass, Rockdale, Marble Falls, San Marcos, Taylor, San Antonio, Giddings, and Luling, Texas. The company also had a loan production office located in Del Rio, Texas. The holding company was incorporated in 1971.
